I am a designer based in Vancouver, Canada who has a BDes in Interaction Design and a BFA in Visual Arts. I have over 2 years of professional design experience and my past employers include Microsoft, Telus and Aritizia. In addition, I have also worked with notable clients such as Hans Grohe and Swiss Mobiliar. In these positions I routinely collaborated with multiple teams taking on tasks related to development, analytics and marketing to carry out user research, revise information architecture, create rapid and high fidelity prototypes as well as present, document and measure my research and designs. My practice is largely informed by agile and user-centred design principles and I have a passion for human-centred design.
Aside from my work as a designer, in 2012 I co-founded Brick Press, an art book publishing company. Brick Press is an independent publisher with the mandate to provide a platform for Canadian and international artists and authors to disseminate critical works and collaborate through the medium of print. My professional experience as a publisher and designer has resulted in frequent invitations to be a guest speaker for various design, publishing and writing programs at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and Emily Carr University of Art + Design over the past 5 years. We look forward to exhibiting our work this year in upcoming book fairs in Vancouver and abroad.
Outside of art and design I love to cook (especially Italian food), go thrifting and take my Saint Bernard, Bentley, on long walks in the forest.
